We have been waiting for a couple months to hear these words...

So much hard work has taken place...

Lots of long nights...

Entire weekends spent apart...

But, it has been totally worth every minute of it...

Today, Kevin got an email...

And it made today a day to celebrate...

Are you ready????

I know we were!

Can all just say Hallelujah!!! It has been a LONG road, but Kevin has completed his masters program!!!!! 19 months of hard work, determination, late nights, lots and lots of research have all paid off!! I am so proud of him, and all that he proved he could do. The program kept him very busy, but he always managed to balance his time well. He always put us first, which meant usually he would have to stay up til the wee hours of the night to get his work done, and this was all after he worked full time. The last couple months has been the hardest, and extremely frustrating. The entire program Kevin had excelled with flying colors. Making high A's on every paper he submitted. He had professors tell him that they would help get his papers published in history journals. I say all this not to brag about my smart husband, but just to show how well he did. He had 6 seminars all with different professors, and had to write several papers for each. It came time to write his final paper which by the way was 50 pages long. He worked on it for months and months, and had to do so much research to gain enough information to write about his topic. Let me just back up and say that this last professor, the one who would be in charge of this paper was not on the student's side. He made it quite clear that he DID NOT GRADE FAIR, THERE WOULD BE NO A's etc. Major arrogance going on for sure. Well, sure enough he turned down Kevin's paper, and told him that it was not what he wanted. So, Kevin kept marching on, changing the paper to what the professor "supposedly" wanted. Kevin worked on it for another month.. turned it in, and same thing. Once again the professor said nope not going to work, pretty much saying opposite from the last time. On this last paper they didn't get an actual grade. It was pass or fail. And this determined rather they would pass or fail the program. Frustrated, Kevin was at a lost with what to do. He finally got a hold of the professor, and the professor admitted that he was not clear to ANY of the students how he wanted the paper written. He told Kevin that the entire class was having to re-work on their papers. Makes you wonder why this guy didn't just say what he wanted from the beginning. Lots of time wasted!!! But, Kevin figured out what he wanted, and was able to change his paper in only 2 weeks.

AND HE PASSED!!!!!! So my hubby is done!! We are so excited!! It is going to be so nice having Kevin around in the evenings and weekends!!! We go to Vermont in June for Kevin's graduation!!!! CAN"T WAIT!!!
