Christmas is near... 14-13 days

Here are a couple pictures from our Christmas card.  I can't figure out to save the actual card without scanning it, and I don't want to have to go upstairs and do that.  Ha
We went over to Longwood neighborhood to take some Christmas pictures in hopes to get a decent shot for our cards.  I set up a tri-pod to get the pictures done.  Taking pictures with a tri-pod is A LOT harder than you would think.  By the time the timer takes the pictures someone has either moved, not looking at the camera, blurry, has their eyes closed, the wind is blowing their hair in front of their face, has an awkward smile etc.  We took about 70ish pictures of the 3 of us, and there was only maybe 3 or 4 that were usable.  Dane was really good though, and very cooperative.  I on the other hand have to admit I was getting pretty annoyed and frustrated.  It was in the low 80's and I was wearing a scarf and long sleeve shirt and running back and forth from the camera to my spot in the picture.  Sweaty mess by the end of it.  But, we managed to get a shot I think was pretty good of the 3 of us.  Dane is going through a phase of giving a really awkward smile when he is taking a picture.  And the more I tell him to stop smiling like that the more awkward it gets.  Ha  His natural smile is so much better than the forced smile, but you gotta take what you can get sometimes.

Well, we figured out how to make Dane eat dinner like a grown man. Just serve breakfast for dinner... Christmas breakfast.

14 Days till Christmas

We made Reindeer pancakes for dinner.  Dane LO-VES pancakes, so he was sooooooo excited that we were having that for dinner.  He ate the entire reindeer... 2 pancakes with 2 lil pancakes for ears, 2 sausages, and then Kevin made him 2 chocolate chip pancakes and he ate those and then had another sausage link.  And he was still saying that he was hungry!!! It was unreal!!!! And the fact that he ate sausage links with no fight made me think someone had dropped off another kid.  He has since then asked Kevin to buy more sausage.  Oh Yeah!

13 days till Christmas:
Dane got new pjs which he desperately needed. And not just any pjs... star war lego pjs! Score!  He has outgrown pretty much everything he owns.  He has wanted to wear these pjs pretty much every night since.  We also made chocolate dipped s'mores after dinner. Yummy!

The s'more pics are from my cell phone. And they definitely didn't turn out as cute as the picture on pinterest, but they were really good and sweet! A lot messier than I was trying to make, but Dane enjoyed them!!
