Jace turned 13 months on the 4th of July. He's becoming more of a toddler with every day that passes. Getting into everything, I mean everything and starting to climb on windowsills, couches, toys etc. We really didn't have this stage with Dane because he didn't start walking until he was 13 months, and then soon after was in a body cast for 3 months and then had to re-learn how to walk. It's a super cute phase, but oh how it is truly exhausting. Jace never stops moving. He is not content in a stroller or high chair for longer than a couple minutes, he wants to be down and running constantly. He has started dancing when he hears music, claps or throws his hands up in the air when he is excited. He is sensitive and clingy, and will cry anytime you tell him no and then rush over for you to console him.
When he is happy he is really happy, and when he is sad he's really sad. There's no in between. We have switched him from formula to whole milk, and he is eating all table food. He is more of a carb guy. He loves chicken, pasta, pancakes, toast, biscuits etc. He also loves yogurt but getting him to eat fruits has been tough. He has to have something to hold in both hands most of the day, and he will bend over and switch the two things from hand to hand over and over. He's a bit quirky when it comes to feeding him a bottle. He needs to be away from any distractions, and have something in his hands to distract him from wanting to push the bottle away and get down and run away still hungry. He loves having us play with him, and Dane can make him belly laugh at any given time. Jace has 4 teeth on top and 3 on bottom and getting more hair finally.
