Napa Day 2

Day 2 we woke up and our breakfast was delivered.  YUM!! The rolls at the top were so good and sinful.  They were warm cinnamon doughy goodness.  We both ordered a ham, egg and cheese croissant that was heavenly as well.  The chocolate croissant was bonus, but neither of us were crazy about it.

Our adventure for the day was a ride on a wine train that takes your through Napa passing several beautiful wineries.  While riding on the train we were giving wine to taste and had a 4 course amazing lunch.  The views were amazing.  Napa is so beautiful.  There were several packages that you could pick with the wine train.  We chose to ride till the very end and get off at the Castello Di Amorosa for a tour and wine tasting.  It was an amazing day.  The train ride was an experience that I'm sure can't be topped, the food was delicious, the views were incredible and cherry on the top was the amazing castle.  I took so many pictures, it was just so hard to stop because every corner that you turned you were surrounded with beauty.
At the train station was a Lovers Lock bridge where you could write a message on a lock and hook it to the bridge.  I attempted to use the engraving machine that was offered, and it was way harder than I thought it was going to be.  Therefore, my lock looked like a 2nd grader did it.  HA Oh, well.
It's official... we are locked in love.  :)

We were able to tour the train and even step out on the outside part to take pictures of the scenery.  When riding inside the train it didn't feel like you were moving very fast, but on the outside you better hold on! I was a bit nervous out there.

We were able to select our 4 course options for our fancy lunch.  Fancy Fancy Food I tell you.  We don't eat fancy very often!!

My choices were-
Flourless Yam Ravioli (I wasn't sure if I would like this one, but the ravioli was really yummy)
Tomato & Basil Soup du Jour (looked prettier when it arrived, but I forgot to take a picture before I dug into it)
Roasted Beef Tenerloin (OMG YUM)
Chocolate Terramusi (This was DELICIOUS, SOOOOO GOOOD)

Kevin's choices were-
Grilled Shrimp & crispy Wonton (He said it was yummy, but was sad there was only 2 shrimp... fancu means small portions)
Red & Green Apple Endive Salad (perfection)
Almond Encrusted Salmon Piccate (perfection)
Rasberry cheesecake (perfection)

The views, the castle, the tour, the wine, the tasting room all incredible.  My pics uploaded out of order on some, but it's too hard to change it with this many pics.

The train ride and tour took most of the day. We got back to the hotel, changed out of our nicer clothes and had a low key evening.  We walked around downtown Napa a little bit more.  We weren't starving when it came time for dinner so we found a low key pizza place and got a slice of pizza for dinner.
This day was probably my favorite part of the trip.
