Galveston

June was a very jammed packed month of summer fun.  We had a lot planned, and joked that our summer plans peaked in the first couple weeks of our summer.  A few days after we got home from San Antonio we went the other direction and spent the day in Galveston.  We skipped the beach this time and spent the day strolling the strand, having lunch at a cute little pizza shop near where the cruise ships port, getting ice cream, doing a little shopping and ended the day with a bike ride on the seawall.  We were true tourists ha! Let me tell you...those pedal carts are no joke.  They look super easy, but by the end Kevin and I were both sweating and huffing and puffing along and our legs were burning.  It was fun and super cheesy, but the kids enjoyed riding near the beach. Another fun family day, and we were able to check some things off our summer bucket list.
