Our second day at Sea World was Jace's last day as a two year old. :( It really just goes by so fast.
We had been hyping up his birthday for weeks, really ever since his school celebrated his summer birthday back a month before. So, Jace knew exactly what a birthday was and you could just tell he was relishing in all the praises and attention. He woke up on his birthday and the second we started mentioning that it was his big day he just glowed with excitement. We sang to him about a million times throughout the day which he just loved.
We packed up and headed to our next stop in our trip. Before arriving at the J.W. Marriott we stopped to get a birthday treat at Baskin Robbins. Jace is not a fan of cake, but loves ice cream so we did that instead. We brought candles with us and sang happy birthday and he just thought it was the best thing ever. He loved it so much that he made us use all the candles that we had in the package and sing to him over and over. So stinking cute. I think we lit the candles 5 or 6 times and sang while he smiled huge before blowing out the candles. We got to the resort and got checked in and immediately got our bathing suits on to hit the water park. Jace LOVED the water slides that were for his age. We were only able to play for about 30 minutes when it started lightening and the park was shut down temporarily. While we waited that out we decided to go ahead and let Jace open up some of his birthday gifts that we had brought with us. He was in hog heaven since they were cars, a car garage and mini train track toy. He loved it! We let him play with his new toys for a little bit and then were able to head back for some more water fun. Later that evening we went and listened to live music and the kids were able to run around and do fun activities. Jace had a blast racing other kids. He giggled the entire time. It was the best day! Jace had an amazing time celebrating his birthday.
